Kids Corner Info

DLite is offering all kids (elementary, middle or high-school grades) free eBook publishing. We will design a cover, layout your text for eBook publishing and offer it for sale on our website. The offer does not include editing or proofreading your work.

You will have full rights to use the original artwork and/or high quality royalty-free cover image. After your book is published to our site, be sure to tell your friends and family.

You can elect to have your book availble as a free eBook download or if you would like to sell your book, DLite Press will set a price and as the author, you get 75% royalties on each sale.

How to get started

	Write your book
	Have someone read over your work - check the content for any errors and make grammar or spelling corrections
	Email your book to us. We will accept your document in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, Rich Text Format, or as a PDF file
	Send your pictures if you would like any pictures included on the cover or in the interior of your book. We accept JPEG or TIF picture/image files
	Decide whether you would like your book as a free download or for sale
	You and your parent or guardian must sign and submit our book contract
	Get started - Email:info@dlitepress.com. 'Kids Book Publishing' must appear in the subject line

Book Length & Content

	We do not provide editing or proofing of your work
	We will provide one cover design. The author has the option of submitting a royalty free cover image
	There is a minimum page count and/or word length
	We will not accept books over 100 pages in a word document or over 45,000 words
	We will not accept any nudity, any abusive, discriminatory or inflammatory language and reserve the right to reject any manuscript that does not meet our editorial criteria

After Publishing

	Your book will be published to our website and your name will be listed in our list of authors
	Your book is available for immediate sale or free download to friends or family
	Your book can be uploaded to Amazon Kindle, Nook or other eReaders
	On books sold from our website you will receive 75% per copy, of the amount received by DLite Press
	All rights remain with the author. The completed books remains the property of the writer, with a copyright in the writer's name

DLite also offers a range of customized publishing option. Our services include self-publishing, formatting, proofreading, editing, cover and interior design, web design and PDF file creations. We offer promotional tools, marketing service and merchandising placements on major online bookstores.

Get Your Book On Online: Your book can be uploaded to major sales, publishing and authors’ websites where it will be available to a worldwide audience. An ISBN is needed for some sites. No ISBN is needed for Amazon Kindle or Nook upload. Some online placement is permanent. (ISBN assignment is free with the purchase of any of our packages)
